Updating Your Mobile App
In order to use the new mobile app, the latest version of the Uniform Solution must be installed. If you don’t have version 5.92 or later, select Maintenance > Updates > Check for Program Updates to download the latest version. To update the mobile app, access your app store and search for “usmobile” or select a button below.
If you haven’t already upgraded to The Uniform Solution+ SQL Server, go to File > My Account to view upgrade information, product description, and pricing.
Search Feature Enhancements
The new search feature enables you to easily find inventory items by entering some or all of a Style, Product ID, Description, or Detailed Description. Within the new search functionality, you can choose if the search criteria “Begins With, Ends With, is an Exact Match, or Match Within.” You can also choose if the search will “Skip Inactive” items or “Include Inactive” items.
If the user chooses to do an exact match, as long as the query returns 1 item in the result set, it will automatically pull up that item.
The color change popup automatically appears when the user chooses an item with more than 1 color through the new search feature.
Faster Barcode Recognition and Portrait Scanning for Android
Along with enhancing the mobile search features, we have integrated a new barcode scanning engine that increases scanning speed and can support portrait scanning on the Android platform. Now scanning in an item is easier and faster than ever! Please note that the barcode scanning feature is not yet available on the version the Windows Phone, but is coming soon.
